Working with Clay is a meditative, grounding and deeply tactile art form that connects us to the earth. It promotes patience, mindfulness and creative expression and a beautiful way to slow down and reconnect to your senses. When you work with Clay, your full attention is drawn into the process. This sensory focus helps quiet your mental chatter, and grounds you to the present. Clay has its own rhythm and doesn’t always behave as expected. As you work with Clay you learn how to lean into the quiet flow, accept small mistakes, embrace, imperfections and adapt. Clay teaches us that mistakes can be repaired and there is beauty in the flawed. Join us in The Lodge, for Clay Crafting on May 3rd, at 2pm.
This is a free event, unless you would like to give a love offering to Kristin Clark, for materials provided.
