Classical Sculpture Drawing Workshop
In this workshop, students will learn the process of drawing a classical sculpture from reference in graphite. All skill levels are welcome! Students will learn to simplify a complex portrait using a straight forward approach to observation and mark-making. Working in a traditional atelier style, students will slowly build up a drawing using comparative measurement and sight-size measurement. The workshop will highlight basic facial anatomy/proportion as well as various rendering techniques.
