About this Event

Charcuterie is an ancient method of preserving meat that came out of necessity before refrigeration. Today we eat it both to honor this tradition and because it's delicious. But the world of charcuterie can also be confusing, encompassing terrines, pâtés, sausage, confit, and so much more. Some types can be made in mere hours, while others take years.

Join us for a celebration of all things charcuterie. We'll discuss and taste the differences between the major categories (What's the difference between sausage and salami?) as well as some of the nuances. You'll have a chance to taste charcuterie from near and far, classic and modern - from our excellent in-house charcuterie program to imported hams.

We'll complement your charcuterie flight with some classic condiments and beverage accompaniments as well.

To fully participate in the class:

1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a charcuterie and cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.

2. Class begins at 6:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).

3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
