The programs will begin with a discussion of some of the earliest works known in the genre, along with a discussion and viewing of some of the film renditions that have been created from these works throughout the years. We will discuss British literature on November 13 and American literature on November 20.
Participants will have the chance to explore works such as: Le Morte d’Arthur, The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia, Robinson Crusoe, The Last of the Mohicans, Walden, The Red Badge of Courage and more.
