Classic City Juneteenth Music & Arts Fest 2026

The Classic City Juneteenth Music & Arts Fest is a vibrant, community-centered celebration honoring the legacy of Juneteenth through music, culture, art, food, wellness, education, and Black economic empowerment.

Hosted by the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement and United GA Entertainment, the festival will take place on June 20th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Georgia Square Mall in Athens.

This dynamic event is designed to bring together families, local residents, artists, performers, entrepreneurs, food vendors, community organizations, and cultural leaders for an unforgettable day of unity, culture, and celebration.

In 2025, the Classic City Juneteenth Music & Arts Festival attracted hundreds of attendees from Athens and across Georgia for a powerful celebration of freedom, creativity, community, and Black excellence.

This year, we’re doing it again — bigger, bolder, and even more impactful.

Vendor spaces are available for:

• Retail Vendors
• Food Vendors & Trucks: At this time, we already have a Jamaican cuisine and artisan vendor confirmed and are not accepting additional vendors in that category. We are still accepting a all other food vendors and encourage interested vendors to apply.
• Artists & Makers
• Health & Wellness Businesses
• Professional Service Providers
• Youth Entrepreneurs

Shop and support a diverse lineup of Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, makers, retailers, creatives, and service providers from across the region.

Enjoy an exciting lineup of live performances featuring musicians, DJs, spoken word artists, dancers, cultural showcases, and local talent bringing energy and inspiration to the stage throughout the day.

Experience the beauty and rhythm of African culture through interactive dance sessions, live drumming, and community participation celebrating heritage, movement, and freedom.

Take part in collaborative community art activities designed to inspire creativity, storytelling, healing, and cultural expression for all ages.

Families can enjoy kid-friendly games, activities, educational experiences, and youth engagement opportunities designed to create fun and meaningful memories.
