All Classic Black Cinema films this season were released in 1974 -- the year of our founding -- to celebrate the Gantt Golden Year, our 50th anniversary! This film is about a small southern town that is rocked by a tragedy due to the rape of a young woman. The white fathers immediately declare that the attacker had to be Black and place the blame on Garth, a young black man -- Garth flees as the Klansmen lynching party unfairly pursues him.
