Come Join Adam for a fun paddle in Lower Prospect. Sea Kayaks, canoes and SUPs are welcome.

Please arrive early to fill out CKNS waivers and to be on the water and ready to go by 6 pm. There are spaces for parking available, but if possible, please carpool. We will be launching beside East Coast Outfitters, 2017 Lower Prospect Road in Lower Prospect.

This paddle is suited for experienced beginners to intermediate sea kayakers, experienced stand-up paddlers, and experienced canoeists. We will be heading towards Prospect Village with the hopes of paddling in more exposed areas towards Betty Island. We will take a route that leads us through Rouge's Roost so there will also be some protected areas where we will be paddling.
While on-route we will be discussing what weather and sea conditions are considered and the decision-making that goes into planning a safe and fun excursion. Adam has been leading tours from this location since 2010, so he is intimately familiar with this location. This will help you with your future trip planning in other locations around the east coast.
Participants will be expected to bring their own equipment. If some equipment is needed please arrange that with Adam.
This is a CKNS event.
Registration is required.
This paddle is free to CKNS members and $10 for non-members
