Our adventure begins as we board the Freedom Riders bus from the historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church in Atlanta, a symbol of the resilience and determination of the Civil Rights Movement. As we embark on our journey, we'll break the ice with some fun games and activities to foster a sense of community among our fellow travelers.
Along the way, we'll make stops at significant landmarks, including the iconic Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, where brave individuals stood up for their right to vote. We'll also visit the National Voting Rights Museum and Institute, where we'll gain insight into the sacrifices made by those who fought for equality.
But it's not all serious business! We'll also take time to indulge in delicious soul food at local eateries, where you can feed your body and soul while enjoying fellowship with your fellow travelers.
