Civic Sessions: Managing Change

Change is inevitable. Managing it well? That's what separates disruption from real progress.
About this Event

We've got monthly Civic Sessions, designed to help you think differently, grow your business, and pick up practical tools. Each 45–60 min session is packed with tips, ideas, and takeaways (and a free lunch!)

This session, Adam (That Training Guy) cuts through the noise on change management, sharing straightforward tools to help you navigate change with more confidence, clarity and impact.

We'll focus on the human side of change; how people react, what leaders get wrong, and what you can actually do about it.

We'll cover:

➡️ Why change creates resistance (and how to work with it, not against it)

➡️ How to communicate clearly when plans are still evolving

➡️ Practical ways to keep people engaged and focused during uncertainty

➡️ Simple leadership habits that build trust and resilience

Whether you're leading change, adapting to it, or helping others through it, this session will give you practical ideas you can apply straight away.

Your host is Adam Finch, also known as That Training Guy, a high-performance facilitator and strengths coach specialising in team and leadership development. Adam works with organisations to build stronger teams, improve communication and create high-performance cultures that deliver real results.

Fancy sticking around? After the session, you're welcome to come and work from Civic. Grab a desk, enjoy the space, and keep the momentum going!
