Join Civic Center Conservancy and AstroTours on the Great Meadow in Civic Center Park for a celestial journey right in the heart of the city. Accessible to all ages, we invite you to learn from skilled astronomers about the wonders of the cosmos, constellations and their folklore, and observe the moon and other celestial bodies through high powered telescopes. On February 25, you will be able to view a waxing gibbus moon, the Seven Sisters, Jupiter, Sirius, and Orion Nebula.This month, enjoy unique beverages and tasty empanadas, available for purchase, from Karun Cafe to round out an enchanting evening that promises an “out of this world” experience!
Ticket information
All attendees 5 years and older must purchase a ticket. All children 12 and under require adult supervision (suggested minimum ratio of 2 kids : 1 adult). We appreciate your understanding to help us keep this a safe and fun event!
