City of Richmond Sea Level Rise Educational Workshop

We're launching a community-driven effort to help shape the future of the Richmond shoreline. With rising sea levels, our shoreline and neighborhoods may face growing risks from flooding, rising groundwater, and the loss of habitats - as a result, the city is creating a Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan to protect our community and environment.

This plan will build a community vision for how Richmond can prepare for, and respond to, these changes. Richmond Sea Level Rise Adaptation and Resilience Plan.

Together, we can shape a plan that reflects community priorities and strengthens the Richmond shoreline for future generations.
