? Cleanup Meet-Up: The Monolith Parking Lot (Turtle Bay)? Time: 8:00 AM to 12:00pm – Saturday, December 6th
This is a rain or shine event as we will be granted access with a truck and trailer to a section of the river trail.
Meeting at The Monolith parking lot just south of Turtle Bay to clean up a section along the river trail where an old encampment was. Sharps have already been removed from the site.
This will be a 4 hour clean up with walking over ruff ground, trash will be hiked out to the main trailhead.
We’ll begin with a quick safety briefing and waiver signing before heading out. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring any personal protective equipment (PPE) you prefer, such as gloves or a litter grabber.
We’ll have grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and bags available for anyone who needs them.
