About this Event

Are you a local nonprofit seeking Tribal Gaming funding through the City of Peoria? Join us for an informational session outlining the NEW City of Peoria Tribal Pass-Through Grant Application Process.

As a municipality, the City of Peoria serves as an intermediary for Tribal Gaming funds by reviewing applications, organizing City Council action, and passing funds through to eligible Peoria-based nonprofit organizations. Tribal sponsors require City Council approval and signed resolutions before and/or after applications are approved by the sponsoring Tribe.

Any organization seeking the City of Peoria’s support or sponsorship for Tribal Gaming funds must follow this updated process.

  • The City’s role in vetting applications and administering awarded funds
  • How City Council approval and resolutions factor into the process
  • Key timelines and next steps
  • Opportunity to ask questions directly to City staff

The City’s Grant Program Manager will lead the session and provide guidance on navigating the updated requirements.
Who Should Attend

  • Peoria-based nonprofit organizations
  • IRS-designated 501(c)(3) entities
  • Organizations considering applying for Tribal Gaming funds with City sponsorship

Attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged for organizations interested in applying.
