City of Kitchener <> GeoMate OVIN Project

Join GeoMate, the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), and the City of Kitchener for an interactive showcase of how GeoMate’s HD maps are supporting smarter infrastructure planning in Kitchener.

Through the OVIN-supported project, GeoMate developed and delivered advanced spatial datasets designed to power next-generation transportation analysis, digital twins, and scenario testing. This session will highlight the scope of the project, the technical approach behind the data, and how the City can leverage these assets for planning, operations, and future mobility initiatives.

This event will take place at Communitech’s 519 meeting room, bringing together municipal leaders, planners, engineers, and innovation partners for a collaborative discussion on how data-driven tools can accelerate decision-making.

The Tannery visitor parking lot tends to be busy at that time of day so include these instructions for attendees in your calendar invite:

Limited 2 hour parking is available in the Tannery visitor lot at 151 Charles St. W Kitchener on a first come, first served basis. Additional parking is available in the Impark lot #172 at 54 Water St. S , the City of Kitchener Water St. S parking lot or the City of Kitchener Bramm St. Yards. The Tannery building is conveniently located in downtown Kitchener close to public transit and the LRT.
