Join the City of Kingman on April 9 at 10:00 a.m. for the Recycling Center ribbon cutting at 3700 Andy Devine Avenue, and bring your recyclables during our Free Recycling Days from April 9–11.This event will provide an opportunity for the community to tour the facility, learn about accepted materials, and view demonstrations of the new recycling baler system. City staff will be available to answer questions and provide information about the center.
The Recycling Center accepts a variety of common household recyclables, including cardboard (without wax coatings such as milk cartons or some cereal boxes), aluminum and tin cans, all colored glass with lids removed, plastic containers such as water, soda bottles, milk jugs and detergent bottles. Customers are asked to remove lids from bottles and containers before recycling.
The Center’s normal operating hours are Thursday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
