Join us at Baker Park on April 18th for the City of Frederick Parks and Recreation Department's annual Earth Day Celebration! From 11:00am-2:00pm representatives from groups like the City's Sustainability Department, Audubon Society and many others will be offering hands-on activities to help promote green initiatives across the county. We will have scavenger hunts, giveaways, guided walks and so much more, all free to the public! Additionally, this year we are working with Frederick Housing and Human Services Department to bring a food drive to the event so please consider donating canned goods and non-perishable foods at the event. We look forward to seeing you there!There will also be scheduled activities that include:
Interactive fishing demo at 11:30am
Guided Nature Walk and iNaturalist tutorial at 12:30pm
Grounding Yoga at 1:00pm
