The City of Beaumont welcomes the community to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a dynamic Lion Dance performance in the heart of downtown. Residents and visitors are invited to gather at Riverfront Park on Thursday, February 19, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m., for a lively cultural celebration honoring the Year of the Horse. This special event showcases the traditional Lion Dance, a time-honored art form believed to bring good fortune, prosperity, and health in the year ahead. Guests will enjoy the powerful rhythm of ceremonial drums, vibrant costumes, and high-energy choreography that together create an engaging and meaningful performance. Whether you are experiencing this tradition for the first time or continuing a cherished celebration, the event offers an enriching experience for all ages.
In addition to the Lion Dance performance, attendees can enjoy interactive activity booths hosted by the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Beaumont Children’s Museum, and the Beaumont Public Library, offering hands-on activities and family-friendly fun for all ages.
