The City of Algona’s annual spring cleanup day is set for Saturday, May 2. A dumpster will be available in the Algona Aquatic Center parking from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Kossuth County Transfer station (located at 2900 130th Avenue, Burt) will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
