About this Event

Help us record wildlife for Exeter’s first City Nature Challenge! This is a global biodiversity recording event run between 24th- 27th April 2026, when we are asking people to go out and record the wildlife they see in Exeter using the free iNaturalist app. You can join us on an organised event, go and record nature on your favourite walk around Exeter, or use your nature knowledge to verify people’s photos afterwards, contributing to our national biodiversity datasets. Join the project page here and check out the other events on our webpage

Join us on a Nature Walk at Northbrook Park! Guided by ecologist Sue Searle, founder of Ecology Training UK, we will explore the nature of one of Exeter’s wonderful nature reserves. Whether you are interested in birds, plants, lichens, bugs, or mammals, we will be looking for anything and everything we can find in the park.

We will meet at the end of the public footpath opposite the Tally Ho! Inn at 14:30 and spend an hour and a half in the park. For directions on how to get to Northbrook Park see https://www.devonwildlifetrust.org/nature-reserves/northbrook-park
