Help us to record lichens on the University Campus for our first entry to the City Nature Challenge
About this Event

Help us record wildlife for Exeter’s first City Nature Challenge! This is a global biodiversity recording event run between 24th- 27th April 2026, when we are asking people to go out and record the wildlife they see in Exeter using the free iNaturalist app. You can join us on an organised event, go and record nature on your favourite walk around Exeter, or use your nature knowledge to verify people’s photos afterwards, contributing to our national biodiversity datasets. Join the project page here and check out the other events on our webpage

Join us to explore the wonderful world of lichens with local lichen expert Fred Gibson

We will meet near the Reed Hall carpark Monday 27th April at 16:00, finishing at approximately 17:30. We will walk through the Reed Hall gardens to check out the lichens on trees, so we may be walking off the path. Parking is limited on campus and we encourage sustainable travel by foot, bike or the number 4 bus. Reed Hall carpark is not open to the public.

The joining point is near the Reed Hall car park
