Gaby Labotka's new play in development, Rare Wolves, is an evocative, poetic play about a pack of transgender and nonbinary people decried as monsters by their families or former communities. They build their own humble utopia in the woods to escape violence and persecution and to nourish their humanity. They find love, acceptance, and joy in the community they form together, making them powerful beyond imagination. Please join us in the developmental process: Each staged reading presentation will be followed by a Talkback facilitated by Dramaturg Zach Barr, and a link will be provided so that additional thoughts can be submitted via a Google Form.
The entire creative team and cast are all Non-binary or Trans Artists.
