Emergencies can happen at any time, and training gives residents practical tools to prepare, respond, and protect themselves and their families when it matters most. Schenectady County is hosting a free NY Citizen Preparedness Training Program class in partnership with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. You'll learn how to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters and other emergencies. Each family that attends will receive one preparedness kit.
Residents are encouraged to sign up and take advantage of this valuable opportunity to learn practical steps for staying safe during a crisis. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
