Internationally-touring storyteller Noam Osband brings his award-winning show, “Circumscribed: A True Tall Tale of One Father, Two Sons, and Thousands of Foreskins,” to San Francisco for its Bay Area debut. Weaving together family video, pictures, and audio recordings, Circumscribed is a show where Noam tells stories about growing up with a father who was a mohel (Jewish ritual circumciser) that buried foreskins at home, his failed efforts at finding paternal figures after his father’s untimely death, and, years later, wrestling with whether to circumcise his own kid.
This outrageously true story is a charming show about the lovable eccentrics we call family.
