Circular Austin Accelerator and Showcase Q&A

The Accelerator is an business education program that aims to help entrepreneurs improve their circular business ideas. Selected participants will receive free business training through a series of workshops and individual coaching from April 30 through August 15. The program concludes with a soft pitch, where the top 3 performers will receive entry to compete at Circular Austin Showcase this fall for a $2,000 prize.

Eligible applicants must meet these requirements for the Accelerator:

• Have an idea or early-stage business or business idea centered on circular economy, zero waste, or sustainability
• *UPDATED THIS YEAR* Have an annual revenue below $35,000
• Live in, have permanent residence in, or attend school in Austin city limits
• Be able to attend in-person workshops and coaching sessions between April 30 and August 15

A pitch competition where established circular businesses compete for a cash prize of $10,000 to support their growth. Up to 5 circular enterprises will have a chance to compete in a public showcase in late August 2025.

Eligible applicants must meet these requirements for the Showcase:

• Have a business focused on circular economy, zero waste, or sustainability.
• Cannot have raised more than $500,000 in lifetime outside funding.
• Have an annual revenue between $35,000 and $250,000.
• Business has been in operation for at least 12 months.
• Business is located within Austin city limits
