About this Event
We will meet and gather in a woodland glade to begin where we will engage in a brief discussion about the necessity of death in nature using familiar examples from the animal and plant kingdoms.
Following this, you will have the option of a number of creative activities which foster reflections on death and dying in nature and in humans. This will include using natural materials such as moss, leaves and flowers, or paints from natural dyes to create and build structures or pictures from our conversations.
To complete the session, we will gather around a campfire with a hot drink and hold the space for you and your children to ask questions and chat about life and death in nature with a fire ceremony to close the session.
Who can attend: This event is for children and open to all families.
