Getting the best from your digital fundraising
To coincide with Welsh Charities Week, CIOF Cymru will be hosting a networking and learning session at Brewin Dolphin in Cardiff. Joining us will be Mark Oakman from Oaks Digitial and Justin Chaloner from Farsight Films. Mark and Justin will be giving insight and tips as to how charities can improve their digital fundraising strategies, highlighting recent trends and successes, as well as as providing some take home messages for attendees. Of course, there will be time to network and meet some of your fellow fundraisers from across Wales.

Tickets will include a drink (tea/coffee) on arrival.

About our speakers:
Justin Chaloner
Justin lives in Cardiff with his wife, two children and Bryn the cat. The creative mind behind Farsight Films, he is a talented videographer and editor with a wealth of experience working on a range of assignments across multiple sectors. He’s been crafting compelling video content for over fifteen years, producing films for the likes of NHS Wales, Alzheimer’s Society Cymru, Marie Curie Cymru, Gower College Swansea and GE Healthcare. Justin's expertise spans the video spectrum: from corporate promos and social media content to animation and the captivating world of drone videography. A steady pair of hands on any project, Justin’s commitment to excellence, combined with a flexible and collaborative approach, makes him the ideal choice for producing high quality video content.
Mark Oakman
Mark Oakman is the founder and Managing Director of Oaks Digital, having launched the business in April 2024. Oaks Digital provide website, graphic design and digital marketing services to businesses with a focus on people and performance.
Mark has over 15-years’ experience in various digital marketing roles, including 6-years as Digital Director at Wales Online where he worked on campaigns for the likes of Kidney Wales, The National Trust, Go Compare, Admiral, Confused.com, The Royal Mint, and The WRU. Mark is a fluent Welsh-speaker, and lives with his wife and 3 children on the outskirts of Cardiff.
