Cinema With A Cause is a monthly screening series featuring thought‑provoking films, followed by guided discussions exploring social justice themes and community impact.
“The Sun Rises in the East" is a documentary that highlights the development and legacy of "The East", a pan-African cultural organization founded in 1969 in Central Brooklyn. Led by educator and activist, Jitu Weusi, "The East" produced and promoted Black owned businesses, schools, and cultural events.
