Bonnie Hunt is an accomplished writer, director, producer, and an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award–nominated actress, earning critical acclaim in film, television, and theatre. Known to audiences for her memorable roles in Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile, Jumanji, and Cheaper by the Dozen, to name a few. Hunt wrote and directed the timeless MGM feature film Return to Me, which starred Minnie Driver, David Duchovny, and Carroll O’Connor.
Bonnie is executive producer, director, and writer of the Apple TV+ series Amber Brown. The series recently earned Hunt WGA and DGA nominations. Bonnie's new projects include Toy Story 5 and Disney's Zootopia 2. She can currently be seen on Netflix in Ben Stiller's drama Escape at Dannemora, and on Amazon Prime in MGM's Red One, alongside Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson.
Bonnie started her acting career in her hometown of Chicago at The Second City, but by day Hunt worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. As a former oncology nurse Bonnie is a dedicated volunteer and advocate for cancer patients.
