A movie about cars in a museum? A perfect after-work event! 🏛️Don't miss a special screening in the cosy Auditorium of the outstanding Musée d'art moderne Luxembourg (MUDAM) on the last festival Wednesday (16/10 at 19h)!
📽️ Mudam will host a special screening of an entertaining documentary about a somewhat particular kind of artefacts - Eastern European cars from the socialist times. The award-winning Bulgarian documentary "The Cars We Drove Into Capitalism" follows several people in various countries who fell in love with their old Trabis, Moskvitches, Ladas or Škodas and their bond has been flourishing until today. There’s a couple who met at a retro car exhibition, a young woman who was inspired by pin-up models and always poses in front of vintage cars from the East, a former racing champion and automobile fanatic who turned his old banger into a luxury vehicle, and many more. Did you know that a Trabi can last forever because its duroplast body will never rust? 🚙💨
This is a funny light-hearted movie, just perfect for an afterwork evening in a very special place, and not to mention that the entrance (also to the exhibitions) is 🆓!
With the support of and in collaboration with Mudam. 🤝
