The Young Players are pleased to announce auditions for Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella Youth Edition for students who are currently in 2nd-9th grades. Auditions will be held Sunday, April 12 at Birch Tree Communities from 1-6pm. If audition spaces fill up we will open additional spots from 6-8pm. Birch Tree is located at 1502 Mary Kay Blvd, Benton, AR Auditionees will be asked to sing a song from the show. They may choose a 16 bar (about 30 seconds) cut or choose from the ones that will be provided. If you choose your own song please come prepared with background music with no vocals and a way to play the music.
Auditionees will also be asked to read sides from the show and do a dance call. All materials will be sent once you have signed up for a time and filled out the audition form below.
Rehearsals are scheduled to begin Thursday, May 28. We will be off the week the Young Players are in NYC (June 5-13). Tech week begins July 1st, but July 4th and 5th will be dead (aka no rehearsals). The show runs July 9-19.
Cinderella Youth is directed by Lauren Lisowe, with music direction by Grace Wells.
