Children of all ages will listen to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the Mexican Hat Dance by F. Isabel Campoy and Alma Flor Ada, read by Miss Heidi. The story introduces young readers to the traditions and cultural significance of Cinco de Mayo through vibrant storytelling and illustrations. After the story, there will be a maraca decorating craft activity, and snacks and juice will be served.This story hour is part of WJWC’s ongoing effort to promote literacy, creativity, and community connection for local families.

WJWC will host two additional story hour events at the Woodbury Public Library later this year on September 22 and on December 5, as part of the annual Woodbury Christmas Festival.
