Downtown Daytona Beach Cinco de Mayo Block Party
Tuesday, May 5th, From 5 PM to 10 PM
Olé! It's time to be transported south of the border to celebrate Mexico's rich heritage at the Downtown Daytona Beach Cinco de Mayo Block Party! This traditional fiesta will take place on Tuesday, May 5, from 5 PM to 10 PM.
Daytona's Cinco de Mayo Block Party is free and open to the public. Beach Street will be closed to traffic from Bay Street to 3rd Avenue (in front of Tia Cori's Tacos, 214 N. Beach Street). This free, family-friendly event will feature a stage with live music, starting with Ragady Lapsey at 5:30 PM and The Love Band (rock, funk & soul) at 7 PM.
In addition to Tia Cori's Tacos, food trucks will serve delicious Mexican specials and festival fare. Adult libations, south-of-the-border beers, and several margarita flavors will be available for purchase. Cinco de Mayo promises a good time for all, including a Hot Sauce Contest (if you dare!). Free parking is available behind the shops on Beach Street.
In keeping with the celebration, Cinco de Mayo marks Tia Cori's Tacos' 15th anniversary in downtown Daytona Beach. Located on the north end of Beach Street, Tia Cori's Tacos is known for offering an "authentic taste of Mexico," making the Cinco de Mayo Street Party a perfect excuse to throw a fiesta!
