Every now and then the calendar gets it exactly right. Cinco de Mayo landing on Taco Tuesday is one of those moments.
We’re marking the occasion with a mix of Mexican flavors and a touch of Afro-Caribbean influence. It’s familiar, but just different enough to keep things interesting.
A quick note for your back pocket: Cinco de Mayo isn’t Mexico’s Independence Day. It marks the Mexican army’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla. That’s all the history for the night, promise.
Join The Alumni Group on Tuesday, May 5th from 4PM to 11PM at Lagos TSQ.
There will be taco specials throughout the day, including salmon and suya tacos, along with happy hour margaritas. Music will be handled by DJs Fragg and Khaleel, moving through hip hop, R&B, and Afrobeats as the evening picks up.
We’ll be upstairs. Come by after work, stay a while, have a drink, and ease into the night.
No big pitch. It’s simple. Good food, good music, and the right people in the room.
