About this Event
Ever wanted to learn more about cider? We’re opening up the brain and the cellar of the man, the myth, the legend himself.
This hour-and-a-half class takes you through five ciders, two of which won best in class at the Sagardo Forum in San Sebastían, Spain, all paired with house-made food. Steve will walk you through how each one is made and what makes it unique. You’ll hear directly from the person who tends the trees, harvests the fruit, and crafts every bottle - a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the art and science of small-production cidermaking. From orchard soil and local climate to fermentation and finish, you’ll discover what sets these ciders apart and why every sip reflects a deep commitment to quality over quantity. Bring your curiosity about apple growing and cidermaking. Steve will guide you through the tasting and answer your questions from orchard to bottle.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or just love a well-crafted drink, you’ll walk away with a whole new appreciation for what’s in your glass.
