One day Workshop with Juli Gabor
1. CI Focus Day - Floor Connections
On this day, we will explore our relationship with the floor in solo and contact improvisation. We'll examine how we perceive gravity in both stillness and movement, whether close to the ground or elevated. Through detailed work, we will learn to connect with the floor more consciously—relaxing without collapsing, allowing parts of us to fall toward the floor while others rise.
Participants will share dances centered on this focus and investigate how to be a stable yet mobile base in CI dancing.
The workshop will be held in English, with German translation available, and is open to all levels of experience.
This workshop can be booked as a single workshop or as a three part series.
Price: € 120,- / TT's € 100,-
Price for the whole 3 part series: € 310,- / TT's € 250,-
Juli Gabor (HU/AU): is a holistic movement educator and bodyworker based in Vienna, Austria. Juli holds a Bachelor in Danish Psychomotor Therapy/Relaxation Pedagogy (2014) and she works professionally in the field of Health Promotion.
She has over 20 years of experience in CI and more (release technique, easy acrobatics, various social dance forms). Juli is an Ilan Lev Method practitioner (2019) and works also as personal trainer.

Tagesworkshop mit Juli Gabor
1. CI Fokustag – Verbindung zum Boden
An diesem Tag erforschen wir unsere Beziehung zum Boden – im Solo und in der Contact Improvisation. Wir widmen uns der Wahrnehmung von Schwerkraft in Ruhe und Bewegung, sowohl am Boden als auch auf höheren Ebenen. Durch präzise Arbeit lernen wir, bewusster mit dem Boden in Verbindung zu treten – loslassen, ohne zu kollabieren; bestimmten Körperteile hinunter fallend, andere aufsteigend.
Die Teilnehmer*innen sind eingeladen gemeinsam mit diesem Fokus zu forschen, wie man eine stabile und gleichzeitig mobile Basis im CI-Tanz sein kann.
Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt, mit möglicher deutscher Übersetzung und ist für alle Erfahrungsstufen offen.
Dieser Workshop kann als Einzelworkshop oder als dreiteilige Serie gebucht werden.

Juli Gabor: ist eine ganzheitliche Bewegungspädagogin und Bodyworkerin in Wien, Österreich. Juli hat einen Bachelor in Danish Psychomotor Therapy/Relaxation Pedagogy (2014) und ist beruflich im Bereich der Gesundheitsförderung tätig.
Sie hat über 20 Jahre Erfahrung in CI und mehr (Release-Technik, leichte Akrobatik, verschiedene soziale Tanzformen). Juli ist Ilan Lev Method Practitioner (2019) und arbeitet auch als Personal Trainer.
