Sometimes here at Church we have a tendency to throw our theme ideas into a blender, put the shit on liquify and then pour it all over your head - well HERE’s one of those… It’s nearly the resurrection dear brethren, and as such we present to you Cathedral: “Le Lapin Vampire” (The Vampire Bunny), A Gothic Easter Dance Party that could be the start of something truly disturbing. :-) …Now it totally could be that we wanted to do something Zombie-Jesus themed (but we’ve already done that), so an idea was launched to initiate the Cadbury Bunny into the realm of the dark arts, but then, why not make him a Vampire?!?!? (like Bunnicula, but like a realll BLOODY one)…
OK it’s nonsense, but what other soiree is going to give you the excuse to 1) dress up as a Zombified Jesus (please go easy on the fake blood - that shit is sticky and gross), 2) get gussied up as an evil Easter Bunny (who doesn’t love bunnies?), or 3) See if our dark little scene has the chops to pull off some PASTEL GOTH?! So let’s have a death of a time with it and pull out the stops! It could be the weirdest thing we do this year (and an instant classic)!
Joining Kev and Trav on our hop into the bunny-trail-in-the-dark-enchanted-forest will be Cleveland’s own BRIAN OBLIVION from Club Nocturne! …We haven’t seen Brian since November of 2023 and we KNOW he likes to dress up (and THROW DOWN the dirty beats) so… …KevyKev, dj broken boy and my Oblivion will whip up a treat basket of your fave Goth, Indstrl, Synth, Aggro, EBM, DarkAlt and Classics!
