Dark, atmospheric and experiential in design, Unknown Concept’s sound resonates across local and international dance floors with accelerated momentum. Laced with progressive psychedelia and minimal undertones, his productions have seen him support some of his favourite artists, with performances at institutional events across Europe, Asia, North America and Oceania.
From Esoteric (Australia) to Groove & Bass (Canada), Kosmos (Finland), Fusion Festival (Germany), Moyn (Germany) and Sisyphos (Berlin), Unknown Concept’s performances are as diverse as the labels on which he features. With mainstay releases on Stone Seed, Digital Structures, Alpaka Muzik, Alula Tunes, Techgnosis Records and Digital Diamonds, the SixthSense Australia resident is steadily defining the electronic music landscape with promising evolution in the years to come.

Tread forward into the dark, lock the door behind you, throw away the key. The Church of Techno crew welcomes you to gather for a communion of rhythmic rapture unlike any other. Deep inside, one will find a psychedelic illumination of hypnotic frequencies and a community of souls inevitably drawn together, lacing their ears with tenebrous honey and submitting themselves to the unyielding groove. Lead yourself into temptation and join us; let us step across the threshold together and descend into the abyss.

♛ ABOUT THE CHURCH
We asked the archbishop how he would describe the Church of Techno. He replied with, “Powerful, dark, filthy. The parties your mother warned you about.”
Pure, hypnotic, psychedelic, bush techno. Raunchy, girthy, groovy, driving, dirty, dangerously delectable music on display.
The ethos is held close to the heart: boundary pushing, hypnotic, twisted, a day of debauchery prejudice free.

Originating in the dark archways of London circa ‘07, the Church migrated to Sydney in 2010, birthing the original Sunday mass for music. Circling the CBD over Sunday afternoons and Saturday night’s under “The Techno Bug” - 2019 birthed the resurgence of the Church of Techno, growing to biblical proportions. Our beliefs shan't be squandered…
● NO TOLERANCE TO OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOURS
We operate a no tolerance to offensive behaviours policy. Prejudice is not welcome at any of our events. We are queer & POC friendly; racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discriminating behaviour or harassment or unwanted sexual advancements are strictly not tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from the event and blacklisting from all future Church of Techno events.
Introverts and extroverts are welcome alike, we just ask you step out of the realm of social conformity. Church of Techno is a welcoming place for all to enjoy.

In 2023 we began our CONTACT THE CREW initiative. If you are feeling safe for any reason, including but not limited to, being subject to offensive or misogynistic behaviour, seek out a Church of Techno core crew member wearing a “CREW” t-shirt and they will help you.
