Chuck Leavell has been pleasing the ears of music fans for more than 40 years now. His piano and keyboard work has been heard on the works of Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, The Black Crowes, George Harrison, The Allman Brothers Band, The Indigo Girls, Blues Traveler, Train, Montgomery-Gentry, Lee Ann Womack and many, many more.
At the age of 13, Chuck got the opportunity to see Ray Charles in concert. He recalls, “Ray and the band played an incredible show, and it had such an impact on me that I made up my mind there and then that that was what I wanted to do. I decided that night what I wanted as my career.” When he was 15, Leavell made his way to Muscle Shoals, AL, and the legendary studios there, where he played on several records, including Freddie North’s soul classic "Don’t Take Her, She’s All I’ve Got."
In 1970 Chuck moved to Macon, GA, where Southern music impresario Phil Walden had recently opened Capricorn Records and studio. There he worked his way through the ranks recording and touring with Alex Taylor (brother of James Taylor), Dr. John, country legend Kitty Wells, The Marshall Tucker Band and others. In 1972 having just turned 20 years old, Leavell was asked to join the Allman Brothers Band. The first album he recorded with the band was Brothers and Sisters, which included the classics “Ramblin’ Man” and “Jessica.” The album hit number one on Billboard’s Pop charts, and he went on to record several more albums with them before the Allmans temporarily disbanded in 1976.
Emerging from the break-up of the Allman Brothers Band, Leavell formed the rock/jazz/blues fusion group Sea Level with Allman’s drummer Jaimoe. The band toured relentlessly during the late ’70s and released five critically acclaimed albums. Catching the ears of and becoming friends with the late rock ‘n’ roll impresario Bill Graham and keyboardist Ian Stewart, the original “sixth” Rolling Stone, in 1982 he was invited to assume a significant keyboardist/vocalist/musical director role for the Stones that continues today. Says guitarist Keith Richards: “Without the continuity that Chuck brings to us, the Stones would not be the Stones.” Leavell describes his role with the Stones as a “sort of musical navigator” who keeps track of arrangements and keeps things balanced in addition to spicing up the music with his keyboards.

Randall Bramblett is a lifer. For decades, he's explored the deep explored the deep corners and outer orbits of American roots music, creating a southern sound that's every bit as eclectic as its maker. Bramblett’s talent earned him the respect of rock’s finest. Highlights – he toured in the Gregg Allman Band, joined Sea Level with Chuck Leavell, recorded/toured with Cowboy, spent 16 years in Steve Winwood’s band. His songs were covered by Bonnie Raitt, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Delbert McClinton, and more. He’s been the horn leader for Widespread Panic, and also tours in Marc Cohn’s band.
It’s a huge tribute to his songwriting to have soul/blues icon Bettye LaVette release an entire album of his songs in 2023, and have that album nominated for a Grammy.
But it’s Bramblett’s own career as frontman where his artistry is truly on full display as an original, respected talent. His catalog reaches a new milestone with Paradise Breakdown, his thirteenth record, a unique sound he calls Modern Roots Music. Living in Athens, Georgia and inducted into their Walk of Fame, Bramblett's talents are repeatedly praised by musicians, critics, DJs and fans.
“You can’t do better than Randall Bramblett.” Bonnie Raitt
“Randall is one of Georgia’s musical treasures. Guaranteed to improve your day.” Dave Schools, Widespread Panic
“See this guy? He’s only one of the most original and profoundly satisfying artists around today.” Goldmine Magazine
“He’s a soulful, poetic badass if ever there was one.” Marc Cohn

ANSLEY & THE HOLD
Echoing the halls of the 1960s soul singers with the most powerful gospel depth, combined with the Athens, GA college radio waves of the 1980s, sits an eclectic, thoughtful, and passionate voice that is Ansley Stewart.
Forever the extrovert, Stewart is most comfortable on stage performing live. Her voice has been said to create life out of thin air (a phenomenon scientists have yet to explain). She emanates her own genre-blending sound that is undeniable upon first listen.
Her original music is written from a place of exploration, trust, and just having some damn fun.
She has assembled some of Atlanta’s heavyweights under the name Ansley & The Hold (aka her best buds) to accompany her on the journey:
Darren Stanley // Drums: Perpetual Groove, Ozone Squeeze, Jimmy Herring, Col. Bruce Hampton
Nick Johnson // Guitar: Randall Bramblett, Widspread Panic
Billy Thornton // Guitar: Ansley Stewart
Robby Handley // Bass: Lera Lynn, ATL Collective Music Director
Stewart has become a fixture of the Atlanta music scene and has a reputation as one of the most versatile vocalists in town.
