CHS Fall Camp
** This camp will only run in the event of a teachers strike. The fee you pay on Eventbright is a deposit only. If the camp proceeds, you will pay the remainder at the registration table on the first day of camp. If the Teachers come to an agreement before this date, your camp deposit will be refunded aside from the Eventbright fees. **
The total cost to attend this camp is $290.00. A deposit of $50.00 is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance of $240.00 will be due at the registration table on the first day of camp.
**In the event that students return to school before your childs camp week is complete, we will begin the process of offering refunds on a prorated basis. Please contact our Humane Education team for more information.**
Calgary Humane Society Camp is a place where kids connect with animals. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for children to interact and learn about the animals that share our world. An enthusiastic staff of instructors and friendly animals give your child an enriching experience filled with fun activities, crafts, and some hands-on animal encounters. As they have fun, campers learn respect, compassion, and how to provide a lifetime of care for animals.
Activities are age and developmentally appropriate. For those campers who have attended our camps in the past, we have several different camp themes, ensuring diverse experiences.
Campers will learn about animal characteristics, behavior and proper pet care as well as meet and interact with bunnies, cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and more!
Theme Description: Creative Critters (Grades 1-3)
This theme provides budding artists the chance to flex their creative muscles and create animal-themed creative projects. Activities focus around the art animals create in our natural world and creating projects inspired by animals and our natural world! Of course, no day would be complete without an interaction from our shelter animals! Perfect for the camper who enjoys arts, crafts and creative projects.
