Chronicles of Narnia: Into the Forest 🥾✨🗓️ Monday 27 April
Step beyond the ordinary and into the wild.
This 11km circuit with approximately 591m elevation gain (5/10) 5 - 6 hours, is designed for the more experienced hiker — those who don’t shy away from a true adventure.
⏱️ We start at 06:30 from the Trail Kiosk in Arbour Rd, making our way up toward the Cross before tackling the route in an anti-clockwise direction. From there, we proceed via Thunderbird toward the railway line, following it briefly before reaching the turn-off for a (very) steep descent into something far more untamed…
What follows is not your typical hike.
Expect to move through a dark tunnel where bats scatter at our arrival 🦇 You’ll wade through ankle-deep water — your shoes will get wet — as we push deeper into this hidden world. This raw and rugged stretch leads us into the secret area known locally as Narnia, where we follow the stream all the way to a secluded waterfall.
This is a wild, immersive experience — unpredictable, exhilarating, and unforgettable.
Be warned. Be prepared. This is an epic adventure.

Required items:
Suitable lightweight hydration pack or backpack
1–2 litres of water
Sunscreen
Hat
Shoes with proper grip
Trail snacks / hiking food
Lightweight windproof jacket or fleece
Fingerless gloves
Headlamp
♡ Meeting time: Please arrive at the gathering point around 06:15 (Pin drop will be communicated)
