Let us Honor the Ancient ways with a Women's Social and Bake that will be held on December 7th, from 10:00 a.m until 4:30 p.m at Sharon United Church. @sharonunitedchurchIntention:
This event is a sacred container for Women to show up as they are, to come gather and offer 1-2 recipes that will be created on site and shared evenly. The day will start with an opening circle to ground, set an intention, and meet the day together as a whole.
This is a time for Women to sink deep into their Roots, activating Sisterhood in a relaxed environment, to take up space and to hold space for one another. Question prompts will be offered to the whole to encourage storytelling, wisdom shares and deep connection. Let it be known that there will be no pressure to offer anything outside of what you deem resonant to you.
Expectation:
How many Women participate determine how many goodies we will take home at the end. (knowing how many women are attending will allow for you to decide how to divide up your offering) Consider 4-6 pieces per Women for their household
Laura will offer a grounding exercise at the beginning of our day together.
Tea and coffee offered- Potluck food recommended to nourish throughout the day
Investment:
The investment will be your time
Two recipes of your choosing
Ingredients for your recipes
The energy exchange is balanced when we interweave our cocreations to be brought home by all families.
A suggested 2-5$ donation which will be going towards renting the kitchen that is a cost of 25.00$
Any abundance surpassing the 25.00$ will go to @socksforshelters
Bring your stories, your heartfelt intentions and your Self!
*Important note* If this resonates with you, yet you are feeling resistance due to childcare limitations, let us bring ease! Outside the kitchen space in an indoor rec area that children and fathers are welcome to take space in.
The kitchen space is intended for Women and the container it offers- However, the rec area will be fully set up for The men to connect and the children to play. If you have a young infant and you need to child wear, that is encouraged. You have a full team of women to support you at any time.
This is intended for the Women, but it is truly for the community.
Please RSVP directly or via this event. ( Let us know if you are attending, how many in your family, and the recipes you are intending) Doing this allows for an awareness for allergies, and ingredients needed.
Deadline for joining in will be December 1st
Let it be known there are two ovens available. It is recommended (but not necessary) that you choose one bake and one non bake item for ease.
We will end the day for 4:00p.m with a 30 minute clean up ending at 4:30
