SIP & PAINT CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PAPER PAINTING WORKSHOP
Join us at Maltby Street Wine House for a relaxed 2:30 hours workshop with artist Alexandra Peterken and begin the festive season by painting and printing your own Christmas Wrapping Paper whilst sipping on a complimentary glass of wine from the bar.
Alex will guide you through the process, sharing tips and techniques to create various stunning Christmas wrapping paper designs to use when gifting your presents this season. Ensuring that the workshop is open to all levels, Alex will create a jolly environment where you will be able to unwind and enjoy exploring your creativity.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experiment and design four sheets of Christmas wrapping paper using a mix of paints, stencils, block-printing and abstract expression. Alex will take you through techniques including creating your own block-shape and how to add finishing touches such as splattering and gold leaf foiling. From traditional snow-covered trees to more personalised wrapping paper designs, there will be something for everyone.
Each wrapping paper design will teach you a different technique, with step-by-step guidance from Alex, making it a perfect festive evening to enjoy with friends, family, date night or explore your inner artist solo with our warm and friendly team.
