What better way to kick off the Christmas festivities than with a leisurely stroll across Hampstead Heath with a delicious whisky in hand?
About this Event

Hosted by Matt Chambers and Karen Taylor - whisky influencers, commentators and educators, and co-founders of North London Whisky Club and popular whiskyforeveryone.com website.

4x 5cl samples will be offered (that's a double pub measure x4) with detailed explanation of each whisky from Matt and Karen as we walk and talk. Each of the four whiskies will have a perfect festive 'feel' and will keep you warm for the afternoon.

Meet at Pond Square in Highgate village, N6 at 2pm. Bus routes 143, 210 and 263 stop very nearby and can be boarded at Archway (Northern Line / High Barnet branch).

Walk is approximately 2.5 miles and will see us take in Highgate village before heading down and across Hampstead Heath. We will walk by the Highgate Ponds and Boating Lake, before heading across the Heath and along the gorgeous Lime Avenue. We will finish in Hampstead village with the possibility of visiting a local pub.

* Please Note / This is not a guided tour of Hampstead Heath but a whisky tasting event. It is a leisurely stroll to sample and learn about whisky, ask questions that you have always wanted to ask, sip and savour, and take in the scenery and fresh air.

Finish at Hampstead Underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch) at approx. 4pm.

No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.

Individual hipflask for each guest (worth £10) will be provided, which is included in the ticket price and that you can take it home.

If you plan to bring your flask from a previous walk, then please use code BYOFLASK for a small discount.

The group will be limited to ensure the health and safety of all guests and your host.

Please bring a bottle of water and we ask all guests to Drink Responsibly.

Strictly over 18s only. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look close to that age.

Please dress appropriate to the weather forecast as we will be outside for the full duration of the walk. This is especially true given the time of year.
