🎄 Christmas School Holiday Workshops at The Peninsula Hotel 🖍️School Holiday Workshops are back for the Christmas break, and we’re bringing all the festive fun to Taperoo – slime, sparkles, crafts and plenty of nuggets.
These sessions are designed for primary-aged kids (roughly 5–12 years) and are a chance for the little ones to get creative while you take a breather and let us handle the mess. Each paid workshop is $20 per child and includes a guided activity, a kids’ meal for lunch, and a donation to Catherine House, supporting women experiencing homelessness here in SA.
Here’s what’s on these summer holidays:
Monday 15 December: Christmas Slime Workshop

Christmas-themed slime, glitter and goo galore, we’ll keep them busy mixing and stretching while you enjoy a coffee in peace.
Wednesday 17 December: Charm Bracelet Making Workshop
🕥 10:30am start
Perfect for mini makers and budding stylists. Kids will design and create their own charm bracelet to take home and show off.
Both workshops:
💰 $20 per child
🍽️ Includes a kids’ meal after the workshop
💛 Portion of proceeds donated to Catherine House
Sunday 21 December: FREE Christmas Craft & Kids Eat Free

We’re turning the courtyard into a little Christmas craft corner with a FREE Christmas craft session, think colouring, gluing, sticking and all-round festive fun.
On the same day, we’ll also be running Kids Eat Free:
One free kids’ meal with every full-priced main meal purchased.
We love seeing the venue buzzing with little creators, proud parents, aunties, uncles and grandparents. These sessions always fill quickly, so bookings are essential for all three dates.
