St. Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church is proud to host our annual Christmas Market. The market will be held on Saturday December 6th and Sunday December 7th from 12:00pm-6:00pm. The purpose of the market is to promote a better understanding of the Romanian Christmas spirit and traditions through:
• Live Romanian Christmas Carols
• Traditional Folk Dancing and Costumes Display
• Displays of Romanian ornaments, artifacts, handicrafts
• Traditional vegan and vegetarian Romanian food, wine and home-made baked goods. Traditional Christmas frozen items available for sale: sarmale (stuffed cabbage), mititei (skinless sausages), homemade stuffed sausages and cozonaci.
• Icons, sculptures and paintings presentation
• Family fun atmosphere with beautiful lights, decorations and a children’s activities area.
• Variety of vendors including Christmas trees, jewelry, honey, crochet items, and so much more!
