**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
• Doors to the bar open at 5pm, doors to the comedy room open at 7pm, the show starts at 7:30pm. No late admission.
• This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless getting up to leave the room.
• You may have to share a table. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If it is important to you to sit with people you know, we recommend arriving as early as possible.
• If you are arranging on behalf of a large group of people, please make sure everyone is aware talking is not permitted during performances. Hen parties and stag dos, this is probably not the event for you.
• Please don’t talk or heckle during the performances; it is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) may invite audience interaction, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…
• Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.
• These shows are for people aged 18 and over. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.
• Tennent’s Laughter Lounge does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. If you disagree or are offended by what you hear, you are free to express this by not laughing, by leaving, or by respectfully raising your objections with the act after the show or via social media. You may not interrupt an on-going performance.
• Exceptions to rules are at the discretion of Tennent’s Laughter Lounge. Audience members who repeatedly break these rules will be asked to leave.
