Christmas in Wanamaker will take place in downtown Wanamaker. Admission is free and activities for the one-day event include: Breakfast at New Bethel Ordinary with Senator Aaron Freeman from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.; vendors displaying hand-crafted items Christmas decorations jewelry candles products related to beekeeping homemade dog treats sweet treats and many more unique items for selecting that special Christmas gift. Businesses will be having open houses to show off their wares and services. There will be two petting zoos Touch a Truck food trucks meet and greet with Princesses Ice Queen and Ice Sister appearances by "Buddy the Elf" and "The Grinch". Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Back Porch Garden Center at Wanamaker Feed & Seed along with Theo the Owl.
New Bethel Baptist Church will be hosting its annual Chili Supper from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
At 1:00 p.m. the Christmas Parade will begin at 8600 Southeastern Avenue and will go through town ending at the New Bethel Baptist Church.
