Bundle up, it’s time for the Christmas in Meridian Winter Lights Parade & Tree Lighting Celebration — happening Friday, December 5, in Downtown Meridian!Start your evening with a festive dinner at one of our charming downtown restaurants or grab a delicious bite from the food trucks parked on the City Hall Plaza. Along the parade route, stop by one of the free hot cocoa stands—they’re serving up sweet sips of community spirit to warm you inside and out.
Catch the holiday magic as the Winter Lights Parade travels down Main Street, Carlton, and 2nd Street, dazzling spectators with twinkling lights, cheerful music, and festive floats.
The main stage is located at Idaho & Main Streets, where the evening will culminate in the lighting of the City Christmas Tree—a bright holiday tradition led by Mayor Simison, Michelle Heart from 107.9 Lite FM and Santa himself (after the parade he finishes the parade.)
Hot Tip: Visit our website for the full parade route, discover Watch Parties or less crowded spots to enjoy the show, and learn how to catch the shuttle.
