The City of Griffin is bringing two beloved holiday traditions together for one festive community celebration due to expected inclement weather on Friday, December 5th. Christmas In Griffin, featuring the City of Griffin Tree Lighting, and the Mistletoe Market will now be held as a single, expanded event on Sunday, December 7th, from 3pm to 7pm in Downtown Griffin.
Free family-friendly activities, holiday market vendors, food trucks, and more will be available from 3pm to 6pm, followed by the City of Griffin’s annual Tree Lighting starting at 6pm in front of One Griffin Center.
Event Includes:
- Holiday vendor market along Solomon Street with 75+ vendors
- Free activities for all ages until 6pm: carriage rides, inflatable snow tube slide, pictures with Santa and characters, s’mores by the fire, snow, train rides, Jingle Jam dance party, cookie decorating, and more.
- Delicious food trucks and holiday food vendors
- Annual City of Griffin Tree Lighting from 6pm to 7pm at One Griffin Center, 100 South Hill Street, with a Christmas sing-along
