In this four-week course you will learn to make to make fondant toppers, pipe cupcakes and decorate buttercream cakes for Christmas!In this four-week course you will learn to make beautiful fondant creations, pipe cupcakes and decorate a buttercream cake with Carli from Baking Club. This class will run Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm over four consecutive weeks. It is perfect for beginners, absolutely no experience is necessary. O ver four weeks you will gain confidence to work with fondant and buttercream to produce beautiful creations. What we’ll cover: - How to make simple Christmas toppers for cookies, cakes and cupcakes! Let’s talk structure and storage so you get the most out of these and they hold up on your baked goods! - Making great buttercream and piping techniques - Baking tips applicable to all items discussed - Tricks to making cupcake and cake toppers - The grand finale - decorating your own buttercream cake. Course structure: - Wednesday 13 Nov (fondant cookie introduction and storage) - Wednesday 20 Nov Sep (create a 3d fondant snowman and baking tips) - Wednesday 27 Nov (Cupcake piping and intro to buttercream) - Wednesday 4 Dec (cake decorating class. Please note this class is 2.5 hours) What's included: - Fondant cookies to take home in a box (week 1) - Fondant 3d topper in a carry box (week 2)
